Steven & Stephanie's Amazing Victorian Village Wedding in Elkhart Lake

What do you get when you chose a venue where you have happy memories spending weekends as a child, wear your moms dress, perfect weather, a trolley full of your best friends your dad's speech quoted Dave Grohl and The Love Monkeys rocking all night long? Chances are you have one flipping awesome wedding!  Steph & Steve are fun, laid back, hilarious couple who really made the day their own.  I truly loved every minute of this day, every moment was pure joy.   It was heartfelt, happy and most of all fun!  I had the privilege to work next to One Fine Day Productions (Nate, Sarah & Elise- your all awesome and fun!)  Steph has me officially hooked on this place, I can't wait to get back to Victorian Village at Elkhart Lake!  Enjoy! 

Sugarland Barn // Friday Frames

The summer is over, it's already September and my favorite month of the year. Scarf weather? you don't have to ask me twice!  I was just reflecting on how amazing 2014 has been. I am a firm believer in positivity. The more positivity I put into the universe the more it comes back on me. I have been to some amazing weddings and met some incredible people at some truly fabulous places. It's still surreal to me that I get to do this and be chosen to be at someones wedding, to watch it unfold and to see these once in a lifetime moments.  Who am I to do this?  I am happy.   I am thankful.

Justin + Maggie's Sweet Justin Trails Wedding

I have absolutely adored this couple since the day I met them last January in the blistering cold at Justin Trails Resort later in June for engagement session and finally at their amazing wedding in August.  They're love runs deep for faith, family and friends and you could feel that was what their entire wedding day was based on.  Maggie's a stunning bride, her hair and her perfect tea length gown and Justin's excited smile, they met in a little garden to say their vows privately to each other before seeing each other for the first time.  I know for some of you tradition wins but the impact of this moment was more than any I have seen at the alter.  The dresses (including the brides) are from Etsy, the bouquets and boutonnieres are made of wood and also from Etsy.  The refurbished barn at Justin Trails doesn't need much decorating, it's big and beautiful just as it is, Maggie's pastel palette and gorgeous simple touches made for one perfect wedding.
