Style Shoot // Vendor Collaboration // Villa Bellezza Winery

Not sure why the idea popped into my head to do a style shoot.  Mostly I wanted to see Villa Bellezza Winery and I wanted a personal project, something fun and to work with other wedding vendors. I am a Rising Tide Society Tuesdays Together Leader in Lacrosse, WI and I have been trying to put myself out there a little  more for networking and community purposes. What better way to connect than to do a style shoot?  Although it's the midst of a very busy wedding season, I choose summer to do the shoot because my other style shoots have either been indoors in winter or fall or early spring. I wanted warm, summer sun and a gorgeous backdrop.  Once Jennifer Joyce Designs was on board I knew this was going to piece together beautifully.  Working with an amazing florist is amazing, working with an amazing florist with an incredible vision AND rentals you can use on your wedding day is pure MAGIC.  Jennifer styled  this complete shoot with her amazing rentals and creative eye.  I was just shooting away at all her magic.  The calligraphy by Saffron Avenue was a huge focus of our shoot.  We couldn't pull off this rustic, romantic look without these fantastic handwritten plexiglass menus, I'm blown away by her copper details.  The cake by Tania Clark was simple, rustic and perfect (and delicious),  Emily Steffen provided the sweet cake topper and fabulous Mr. & Mrs Chair signs, what a staple for any wedding table!  Vintage rentals provided by my friend and past Bride Rachel of the Vintage Hounds, her flea market skills are paying off, anyone in the Madison area needed some cool rentals for your day, check her out! Lindsey and Michael were amazing and gorgeous models who brought the shoot to life.  Allisa Madison is always my extremely detail oriented right hand and crafty ring box maker,  Villa Bellezza Winery and staff created the perfect backdrop for this romantic shoot. BHLDN provided some stunning flowy gowns, Brianna of Alec and Brianna Photography assisted with the shoot and hair and make-up which was more than I could of wished for, Everything came together. This is a true meaning of community over competition and vendor networking.  I am so happy to share a preview of this incredible collaboration.  Brides, Style shoots are a great inspiration for weddings,  use a calligrapher, vintage rentals, a skilled florist, baker and photographer to bring your whole day together and to treasure for years to come.

Cam + Amy's Amazing Rainy Day Wedding // The Barn at Harvest Moon Pond, Poynette, WI

It rained, nearly all day on Amy + Cam's big day and other than needing umbrellas, I am not even sure if they noticed.  The love, laughs and genuine happiness that surrounded this day by far drowned out any rain.  The entire family and wedding party were practically happy to be outside standing in the rain.  I think I had to pull the bridesmaids inside! (Hi girls- love you!) All photos were taken outdoors besides getting ready, ceremony and dinner and dance.  I know Amy and Cam love critters and they love meant to be and I think it rained so a frog could be present on the dance floor for them (which actually happened) this rainy day wedding was so meant to be.  They say rain is good luck on a wedding day,  Amy and Cam do not need luck, their love runs deep and true but someone wanted to make double sure they had all the luck and love they ever needed.  I couldn't be more in love with this day and this couple.  Everyone embrace your weather, go outside and love the day you have been given.  Amy + Cam- your amazing, your day was perfection and I couldn't be more honored, happy or thrilled to know you and be a part of your wonderful journey.  Enjoy the preview!

Allison + Mike's Romantic Rocky Mountain Engagement Session // Estes Park Colorado

Not even sure where to begin so I'm going to just give a little breakdown of our wonderful weekend (Jas says I say "epic" too much) Allison and I clicked right away, we emailed back and forth and chatted on the phone, when she mentioned an engagement session where they now live in Colorado, I was swooning! Once I got to Colorado I fell in love,  we stayed in downtown Denver and explored a little.  Had dinner at The Yard House with 125 beers on tap and street tacos.  The following day we walked around the little markets and vendors and listened to live music. Then we headed to the mountains, Allison gave us the scenic route through Boulder where we stopped for lunch at Oak on Fourteenth. YUM.  I love this little eclectic town!  I love the scenic view of the mountains. I was so amazed. SO amazed!  Majestic!  (Jason and I secretly mapped out a plan to move here)  Then, Jason and I headed to  Rocky Mountain National Park and explored it for ourselves before meeting Mike and Allison.  We drove all the way to the top for some great views. I was scouting out a few spots for photos based on what Allison had talked about and a few examples she showed me.  This place is overwhelming! I could have shot here for hours and hours.  Allison and I really loved the meadows and streams.  I can't thank Allison and Mike enough for this opportunity (and the sweet card that came in the mail!) Jason and I fell in love with Colorado and this couple!  Allison and Mike are both from Wisconsin and have always wanted to live in Colorado and when the opportunity arose they jumped on it!  Their amazing wedding will be in Madison, WI next summer and I cannot wait to see them again!
