Ryan and Sarah's Golden Mast Wedding// Okauchee Lake WI

When I get wedding referrals from past brides, I am ecstatic. It's the best feeling ever. Sarah and Ryan were this awesome couple I met at Jake and Desiree's wedding last summer.  I bonded with Ryan at the Margarita bar while Sarah was in the wedding party. We struck up a convo and I shared my name on a napkin since I didn't have a business card (Rookie Move) When their inquiry came through I was nervous it would conflict with a major family event, but it didn't! It worked out and I am SO glad it did. From the first meeting to the emails to our super funny engagement session to this amazing wedding working with these two has been a blast.  Golden Mast is such a unique venue on Okauchee Lake, it was new to me and it transformed me to somewhere totally new.  From start to finish from the gorgeous dress to the outdoorsy photo location and then the most beautiful day of summer that kept everyone outside, the couple and DJ decided to dance outside instead, basically a wedding photographer's dream come true.  Enjoy the photos!

Aaron and Stacy's Boho Wedding // Enchanted Barn Wedding// Hillsdale WI

Aaron and Stacy were referred to me by my amazing wedding couple Liz and Doug, I loved their wedding so much I knew any friends of theirs would be friends of mine. I wasn't mistaken, if we were all back in high school/college/ wherever, I am positive these people would be my people. Super fun and genuine people who are not afraid to be themselves and enjoy their day.  Outside of how great they are as people was this rocking boho wedding at The Enchanted Barn they put together! Michael and Lindsey's Classic Waterfront Wedding // The Cargill Room Waterfront// LaCrosse, WI

Lindsey and I met a while back, long before she got engaged but the moment I met her I knew I wanted to ( or would even) photograph her.  Over the years we talked so much weddings,  she knew all the behind the scenes kind of stuff,  She knew about lighting and how one photographer's work looks different than another.  Once engaged we looked through photographers,  We talked about her wedding type and her vision and she ended up choosing me, after all of that.  Then we started chatting about her own wedding, and Lindsey did things a little differently than other brides which was actually kind of fun.  She never made one choice she didn't take a long time and well thought out. She didn't make purchases that weren't meaningful or usable, she didn't even choose bridesmaids dresses until 4 months prior to the wedding. She took her time and she made sensible choices and at the end  her vision came to life and her inspiration bloomed and all of a sudden she knew what she wanted and how to get it!  It all came together in one perfect classical day. I was so honored and excited to be there and see this day unfold and be able to see her be a bride, more breathtaking than I could've imagined.  From the blush dresses to her showstopping gown, to the gold and green accents at the reception and the black tuxes and her own calligraphy work,  Lindsey and Michael created the perfect wedding day. I'm pretty sad to see this wedding collection go out the door, that means our wedding planning chapter together has come to and end but I am so incredibly excited for Lindsey and Michael's future and I am just really happy to know them and share this special day.  Enjoy the preview!
