About Me

Hey, I’m Dani — Midwest born-and-raised, La Crosse Wi Wedding Photographer, mom of three wild and wonderful boys, and a full-time baseball family taxi service. If I’m not photographing a wedding, there’s a 99% chance you’ll find me at a baseball diamond… so yes, my life is basically diamonds to diamonds.

I’m not the stuffy, stiff, overly-posed type of photographer. I’m the one cracking jokes, chasing laughter, and keeping the calm vibes flowing no matter what the day throws at us. My couples always tell me I bring an ease to their wedding — maybe it’s the Midwest in me, maybe it’s the mom-of-three energy, or maybe it’s just knowing how to handle absolute chaos with a smile.

Weddings are where I come alive. It’s the story of the day I get to tell — the people, the emotion, the tiny in-between moments, the feel of the room. Every wedding brings this spark of variety and joy into my life that I never could’ve imagined when I picked up a camera for the first time.

I AM

I’m a Wisconsin wedding photographer serving La Crosse, Oshkosh, Madison and anywhere beyond. With over 18 years of experience and 350+ weddings photographed, my style is light and airy, classic, and timeless. Calm, Midwest nice, and deeply invested in telling genuine wedding stories — I believe the best images feel effortless and meaningful.

 
 

My Style

My style is natural, fun, organic, and real—focused on genuine moments of a wedding day. I want to create images with you that take you right back to how it felt, not just how it looked.

I’m inspired by natural light, which is why most of my work happens outdoors or in beautifully lit spaces. Barns, wineries, breweries, B&Bs, farms, ranches, wedding tents, and unique properties are where I feel most creatively at home.

My work is best suited for happy, laid-back couples who value real moments over rigid poses. I’m a non-traditional photographer who focuses on the couple and the unscripted moments that naturally unfold throughout the day.

 

My approach blends photojournalistic and illustrative styles, resulting in honest, emotional, and sometimes unpredictable images. I don’t use pre-planned shot lists—I react to the events of the day. Nothing is forced or overly posed. I’ll give as much direction as you need, often throwing out an idea and letting you run with it.
