Adam and Kelsey's Classy Barn Wedding // Brighton Acres, Oshkosh, WI

You all know I love a good barn wedding, but this isn't just any barn wedding. Kelsey and Adam put together a classy and gorgeous barn shindig at Brighton Acres in Oskhosh, WI.  Kelsey has such an amazing outlook, she knew what she wanted and it came together like a fairytale. The pastels and warm barn tones and lush greenery and golds and of course the absolutely out of this world florals by Allure made  this day so dreamy! But can we talk about this dress for one second? Seriously?  The fun story is Kelsey had actually bought a different dress and then seen this one.  Girls, When in doubt...Choose the showstoppping dress.  Seriously. It's ONE dress. I'm on the downhill slide of my wedding season with only two to go and Getting to work with some of my favorite vendors (Hi Allure and A mint Wedding!) and editing this wedding and putting the blog together just made me miss weddings already!! Brad and Tricia's The Lageret Wedding

My last wedding of August. I can't believe how fast summer goes! It's been an incredible wedding season and now that I am on the countdown to the end I am reflecting back on all the AMAZING weddings and couples and feeling very very thankful. 

Tricia and Brad are so wonderful, they have been waiting for this day for so long and I have to say it was absolutely perfect.  Tricia stunned in her lace gown and Brad dapper in his navy suit. These two are so in sync they even had the same idea for wedding gifts.  The Lageret has this warm yet industrial feel that makes it so unique that only an old tobacco warehouse could provide. With an intimate wedding party and officiated by their friend and supported by so many,  and probably the most incredible dessert table I have ever laid eyes on, this couples day was a modern day fairytale.

Mike and Allison's Northwoods Inspired Wedding // Sugarland Barn

I remembered the day in April when I got Allison's inquiry. We were in Madison and my husband was at a seminar, I was wrangling the boys. We sat for a moment I checked my email and there it was this AMAZING inquiry. I knew immediately I had to call her and chat. Unusual for me! But I emailed immediately and then we called and chatted, every word she said I was swooning over.  Northwoods greenery, rustic and classic at one of my favorite Wisconsin Wedding venues! Sugarland.  Then she says they live near Denver and want their engagement photos there. My head was spinning HOW can I convince her to book me immediately?!  Friends, I call this wedding "If I got married over again" This is what it would look like, a mix of textures and greens and golds, outside at Sugarland barn, warm wood tones and a gorgeous tulle dress that moves. This is my very own wedding inspiration.  Coming up on tens years of marriage this wedding made me want to do it all over again (same groom!). Marriage isn't easy every day, There are good days and bad and over ten years I have realized you have to remember the good stuff and put that first, keep that in the front of your brain and fall in love over and over everyday to keep it alive forever.  I hope my wedding photos serve my couples with a constant reminder of the good and to cherish and remember that everyday.
