My associate asked me what wedding was my favorite on Saturday while working together.  I couldn't narrow it down to just one wedding in particular out of more than a hundred + weddings that was impossible, sure I have some that stand out and always will but to choose one was not do-able. But I could simplify it into a wedding "type" fairly easily.  I love a couple whose not afraid to show their love. I love attention to detail, I love intentional, well thought out decor, details, and style at a wedding, after all this is an element that makes a wedding unique, so yes style and decor is important to me at some level. I love a unique wedding dress that you drove near or far to get or even ordered online. I love parents who stand back and let their children shine while staring at them lovingly.  I love couples who trust the vendors they choose. I love a wedding with meaningful music, vows, readings and pieces. I love when a couple lets me structure the timeline because we can get more (and better) photos that way.  I love a bride whose ready for me when I arrive w/ her dress hanging and all the special tokens laid out ready to photograph.  I love couples who email me and ask my opinion during wedding planning. I love adventurous outdoor couples who when I ask to jump in the weeds they say " how far in".  I love a bride whose not afraid of letting that dress down even in the possibility it gets dirty because what good is a beautiful dress if you don't have wonderful photos of it.  I love an intimate wedding party made up of people who you will never lose touch.  I love outdoor settings. I love a bride with a vision and someone whose confident enough to stick to it.  I love a first look.  I love when a couple stops eating dinner so we can take more dusk photos. I love a couple who avoid any unnecessary photos being taken. I love PDA and couples who need little direction because they can't stop smiling and looking into each other eyes and holding on tight. Why am I telling you all this? Because all of that was Clare and Brett's amazing wedding.  All of it.  From the couple, to the families to the impeccable attention to detail.  This wedding was everything and I cannot stop looking at it. I have no idea how I even managed to narrow it down to a suitable blog preview.  It's a favorite and I am not afraid to admit that.  Clare and Brett- you deserved this day, you deserved the 100% chance of rain to completley miss us. You are beautiful, smart and kind and I will never forget your day.
