Schyler + Bryan Rainy Day Romantic Wedding/ Stoughton, WI

HOW many romantic movie moments are set in the rain? Obvious is The Notebook scene….Favorite. Schyler and Bryan may not have planned for rain all day long but I do know they embraced it and enjoyed it even. The rain could not wash the happiness off their faces, and it did try. At one point I recall them telling me they “Hoped” for rain during their outdoor first dance which was perfect. They even invited their kitties to the wedding. The wedding took place in Schyler’s parents backyard, which is the most magical place. They had a band which is, in my opinion the very best entertainment. Most of all they had the most supportive, love-you-so-much-I-will-stand -in -the-pouring-rain -for-you-and-smile kinda friends and family. You guys need to pour yourselves into this gorgeous wedding and couple and just feel the love and joy, it will make you forget about the rain, I promise. Alyse and Jared's Delightful Summer Wedding // Swan Barn Door// Wisconsin Dells, WI

Alyse and Jared and their baby Clark are the cutest threesome I have ever seen. This couple is so sweet and in love and their day was covered in warm light, gorgeous weather and positive vibes. Delightful is the best word I can come up with to describe this day. The Swan Barn Door in Wisconsin Dells, is a breathtaking mammoth of a barn, with warm natural wood and tree trunks hanging from the ceilings! It has a balcony that is enormous too and makes for an incredible space! The ceremony outback is almost too good to be true with a ray of light shining down. The benches full of family and friends, the sweet decor and personal touches this couple came up with was so personal to them and adorable! They put a lot of thought into this wedding and with covid looming, I am so happy that this day happened and was as happy as it could have possibly been! Phil + Amanda's Wildly Romantic Barn Wedding // Birnamwood Wisconsin

Phil and Amanda’s wedding took a few turns during covid but the vision remained the same. And the vision was so close to my heart. I started a business on barn weddings, I will never stop loving the wide open spaces a country wedding allows and a relaxed timeline, overgrown greenery bouquets, rolling hills, tree covered ceremony spaces. The List goes ON! These kind of weddings inspire me so much because I know that the couple chose this venue and theme because they wanted a certain wedding day that allowed them to roam free and without time constraints and without photo location issues, we can just walk right outside whenever we want, wait till the rain stops and run out, when the dusk light drops at juuuuuust the right time, we can walk right out the door and get those dreamy photos. These kind of weddings allow me to be the most ME. and I love them. Mostly I love the connection between Amanda and Phil. I felt it when photographing them. It’s real and genuine and beautiful and we took way too many photos because of it!
