Cassie + Blake // Charming Boho Wedding at Clam Lake, WI //

Ok it’s been a long year, blog is dead, long forgotten, given up on- totally my fault, but life. Shooting amazing moments, providing good quality galleries for my couples, emailing, editing, delivering galleries, Loading USB’s, mailing custom boxes, new inquiries, answering questions, making timelines, scheduling sessions, and a partridge in a pear tree. All while enjoying life and tending to my family. I guess the one thing I had to give up was the blog.

But in my downtime months (Dec-March) I want, I vow to blog my beautiful weddings!

Here is Blake and Cassie, my last 2020 wedding, the year of covid, we made it through! I think the photos show it, but the vibe of this wedding, this weekend felt like the most cozy, up north cabin life, friends and family, drinks and food and campfires kinda feel. Lake house, BHLDN dress, and a tent they transformed into the most GORGEOUS scene, the hottest couple in pit vipers….This had it all and your gonna wish you were on the invite list.

We borrowed my husband’s Aunt cabin this weekend and when we left this wedding we went back and drank wine and toasted making it through 2020 healthy and happy and sat by the fire with our boys and literally MELTED into a recliner and watched one of two channels which happened to be bullriding, lol. It was a memorable, warm and cozy feel that I won’t forget. Isn’t that what weddings should be? look back at it and be like, ahhh I remember that wedding, it felt like…..

Ronnie & Samantha's Fall Lakeside Wedding/ Three Lakes, WI

Sam and Ronnie are so much fun! Like Busch lights and tailgates kind of fun and they have a group of friends that made this day feel like the event of the year! Everyone was so excited and let loose in celebration of the Sime Wedding! Sam and Ronnie had to make a change to their wedding plans due to covid and switched up their golf course wedding to one of their favorite places and the very dock where they got engaged, could this be more perfect? I adored Samantha’s look with her tulle dress and hair down and Ronnie cleans up so well. The ceremony took place in the most heartfelt spot, the family cabin and they reinvented the lobby of this resort into their reception which worked amazing. Their wedding party practically had The Northernaire Resort to themselves, and this resort… we stayed here and the rooms are INCREDIBLE. Like we are definitely returning some day! I think what I loved most was a deeper look at this fun couple, when Sam walked down the either, both of them let the tears flow and it was so beautiful! I wonder if they even noticed it started to snow? The entire wedding from attire to decor to the vows to the super fun party was 100% Sime’s, and I am SO happy for them they put marriage first and did this thing! Nic + Katie's Classic Fall Wedding // Sheboygan, WI

Katie and Nic planned the sweetest classic day in the fall in Sheboygan. Starting with a first look outside the gorgeous Blue Harbor Resort and ending up at Pine Hills Country Club, with rolling backdrops and a touch of falls changing colors. I loved the clean white and green color palette and the fun party shots in the rain!
