You know how I preach and nearly BEG everyone to “do your wedding your way” and to make sure its “all about you” and to avoid generic details that aren’t a fit for you? The reason I do that is because I attend weddings like Jill and Jordan’s and it was 110% them at their own lake cabin, with their closest people. Tyler + Rachel's Dreamy Wedding At Oak Hill // Galena, Illinois

The Dreamiest. This couple is first of all amazing, then this venue and they add in gorgeous florals and THAT dress. I died. Literally. Rachel reached out to me in June for an August wedding and yes, it can be done and it can be done really well! I am SO glad I decided to add this one on, because it was so gorgeous and SO much fun! Mike and Emily's Camp Luc Wedding at Camp Dewan// Burlington, WI

Imagine this, I am shooting this wedding, and I see this couple, all day, just cute as ever, It’s the brides brother, at the dance I take the sweetest pic of them, I remember them so clearly, fast forward a few years and they’re wedding inquiry comes in, I have secretly been DYING for this to happen one day, and then it does. Emily and Mike designed their day specifically according to what they like, their friends, their family and their values. They value the great outdoors, hiking trails, they value good pizza, they value humor and fun, they value a good dance party and open space venue to play yard games and roam. The backdrop Camp Dewan fit them perfectly, this big barn, all white on the inside made my bright light sense soar, Emily’s dress, Mikes suspenders, all with custom names on the back, a quick downpour of rain during the ceremony solidified rain on a Luc wedding is good luck! DIY flowers and a round of tippy cup! It’s all fun and games until its….all fun and games. Vendor love below.
